The society “Dižvanagi” in cooperation with European Economic Area Financial Mechanism and Latvia Sate support from 06.01.2014 till 30.12.2014 is implementing the Project “Skills Improvement for the Families with Disabled Children.”
The goal of the project is to improve the skills in the families which are bringing up disabled children, in order to promote the children’s integration. The principal activities of the project foresee the organisation of a seminar and camp in Liepāja, where 30 families will acquire some knowledge which will encourage the child’s general development in home conditions based on a programme specially prepared for the child. The target group will also be offered a motivation programme all through the project implementation process. The awarded co financing for the project is EUR 50 462.
A five-day seminar “Neurorehabilitation Programme in Home Conditions” in the hotel “Fontaine Royal” will already commence on February 1 at 9am. Other interested people, after paying a fee, can also apply for the conference calling at 26997456.
The project opening conference will be held at the hotel “Promenade Hotel” on February 14 at 12.00, where different experts from social and medical areas will take part.
