For nine years the society Dižvanagi has been purposefully moving towards implementation of their idea of a rehabilitation centre for families of children with special needs.
Currently the idea has found its home in Liepāja - five steps away from the seaside park and ten steps - from the coast of the Baltic Sea.
Children participate in the Pony School camp together with their brothers, sisters and other children. This helps learning to accept seemingly different since childhood and to develop relations based on mutual understanding and respect.
The basic principles of effective neurorehabilitation are the continuity of the process and competent parents, who are aware of the health condition of a child and know how to continue the work with a child in the periods between rehabilitation courses.
